ATTORNEY
Coming from a family of engineers in Dallas, Texas, Stephanie followed in her family’s footsteps and earned a degree in civil engineering before deciding to pursue a career in law. Her entry into the legal profession began at Norton Rose Fulbright where she practiced patent law in Houston. She then returned to Dallas and transitioned into the construction industry by joining Fisk Attorneys to practice alongside a recognized pioneer in the practice of construction law in Texas, Hollye Fisk. Stephanie now continues to focus her practice on the representation of clients in the construction industry with the team of seasoned construction attorneys at Rothberg Shurtleff Dang, PLLC.
Stephanie works directly with construction industry participants, as well as their insurance representatives, to represent clients’ interests both in and out of the courtroom. Having handled a broad range of legal issues that players in the construction industry encounter, Stephanie is experienced in handling contract negotiation, lien filings, copyright protection, subpoenas, payment disputes, litigation, arbitration, mediation, appeals, depositions, hearings and more.
Stephanie has practiced in trial courts in several counties across the state of Texas, handling numerous claims to resolution, including claims ranging from less than $100,000 to greater than $60 million. Stephanie’s experience also spans multiple sectors of the construction industry, including providing legal counsel and representation with respect to projects in the public works, education, residential, hospitality, faith, healthcare, transportation, retail, and entertainment sectors. Stephanie enjoys utilizing her technical background combined with her legal acumen to achieve swift counsel and resolution for her clients, so they can get back to focusing on developing, designing, and constructing new and exciting projects.
